Jungian Theories - Illustrated
A watercolor illustration series of three Jungian Archetypes, Persona, Shadow and Ego
Persona: Referring to Carl Jung's theories of Persona, me, questioning the many selves residing inside me "who am I?" The "me" that I have created myself and the "me" who I want to be, constantly struggling to find the self identity. The me who consists of the one I created "Persona", the me who I want to find out "Shadow", and the me who has found out my true self "Ego" all stand tall together creating a MYSELF.
Shadow: As Carl Jung said, "Everyone carries a shadow, and the less it is embodied in the individual's conscious life, the blacker and denser it is."
Ego: I may have multiple faces, and have a dark side too, but all of it is still me. There's only one like me. Accepting all of the three will I be able to reach Self. I might need your help to reach there, but when I do, I wouldn't let it go.
